These photos of old 1949 Merc customized Sedan were taken at 2003 Motor Show in Cologne, with my first digital Fuji A303 camera. But since then I still think that Mercury ’49-’51 is the most amazing car of the custom scene

It was the very last event at Bikernieki track for this season. Sadly, but we will not see any more drift, drag or track races this year. But we will have a lot of time to prepair cars for the next year! 🙂 Good luck! More photos here

A new unique book about GAZ-21 «Volga» has finally come to life — the book about legendary and almost symbolic car of soviet automobile industry , written by Ivan Paderin. The book contains multiple archive photos and facts, photos of beautifully restored cars and much more, on over 400 pages.
For me it’s a great honour to have my pictures selected from thousands of photos from Gorky Classic event for the first page (below). More photos from this event here.

Finally, I have received the August issue of «Automobile Tuning» magazine (sadly, but it can’t be sold outside Russia) — one of the largest magazines devoted to tuning in Russia, with my first article about Kustom Kulture 2012 event, that took place in June 2012 in Bottrop, Germany. Northern Europe (NEZ) PRO drift championship – the loudest and most powerful drift competition of the year in Baltics, rapidly moves towards Riga. On September 8 at Bikernieki track, Riga — more than 45 participants from seven countries will try to win the title of the best drift pilot in Northern Europe and prize pool of 6000 euro.
